How It Works

The ceremonies I write and officiate are labors of love, created from personal interviews and collaboration with you.  We will sit down together so we can get to know one another.  This is a no cost, no obligation discussion so you can decide if I am the right officiant for you.  Or, if you prefer, we can chat on the phone initially.

Once you've decided to go ahead, I'll give you an agreement to sign.  I've set my agreement up so that you know exactly what to expect.

Now we begin the interview process.  Don't be's a thoughtful and enjoyable time. We'll talk about why you're having this ceremony and what it really means to you.  You will also receive a set of questions to reflect upon on your own.  Once you've had time to respond, I will gather your reflections and my detailed notes from our conversation and begin to write your ceremony.

This is a critical point about how I work; you own your ceremony.  After all, it's about you! That means you'll approve every word of it, so that there will be no surprises the day of your ceremony. You'll know what I'm going to say and when.  And you'll know that your ceremony will be as unique as you are.

You'll be prepared and more at ease then you ever imagined.  You'll know your're in safe hands, and that there will be no surprises.  And I will embrace your ceremony with the joy and enthusiasm I bring to everything in my life.  This is my promise to you.

A few days after the ceremony, I'll be in touch to give you your special keeepsake copy of your ceremony, and to get any feedback you would like to offer.
